The day before Caitlin and Maikel’s wedding I was in New York City second shooting for my friend Kyle Espeleta, the weather was intensely hot and little did we know that the heat was slowly destroying my car battery for the next morning when I had to drive to CT for Caitlin and Maikel’s wedding. Sure enough as I got in my car all dressed and cameras ready the next day, the car wouldnt start. What an awful feeling. Luckily we managed to jump it and make it to the wedding in time, and Caitlin was the most understanding and sweet bride ever. The couple were married in St Anthony of Padua, a beautiful church in Fairfield CT, where the ceremony was performed by a priest who has known Caitlin’s family for a long time and had very nice and personal things to say about everyone in the family. Not knowing the area myself, Caitlin and Maikel choose a beautiful spot by the waterfront for formal pictures that was perfect for a backdrop for group shots and had some amazing ivy along a wall nearby for a couple quick portraits of the couple. Afterwords we headed to the Gaelic American Club for some partying. Caitlin’s father and his band performed live for a bit and after that it was straight up dancing for the rest of the night. Thanks so much Caitlin and Maikel, Kyle and myself had a great time.
