Lauryn and Scott – Married – Norton

I met up with Lauryn at her parents house where she was prepping for her big day. Her parents had constructed an amazing hanger for her dress in a spare room, and we had to take advantage of the dedicated Poker Room where I had Lauryn flip a poker chip at me until I caught it just right. Kris hung with the guys while they all chilled out on a reclining couch and awaited the limo. The ceremony was at the beautiful First Parish Church in Taunton and its epic front doors provided a great backdrop to some shots of the couple after they were married. The weather was chilly but the light was great when we arrived at the Norton Country Club. After getting some family shots on the greens near by the Country Club, Scott and Lauryn boarded their private golf cart and headed out to the golf course for Kris and myself to get some formal pictures to which the deep backgrounds of fall foliage and a beautiful old Oak tree added nicely. After that it was dancing and partying for the rest of the night capped off by an amazing candy bar in lime green and bright purple colors. Thanks so much Lauryn and Scott!

EXPERIENCE

The goal is having fun. Calm, relaxed, and allowing the celebration to unfold naturally and truthfully.

The sheer volume of amazing photos is making it very difficult for us to narrow down the best ones (great problem to have). Trevor truly captured the energy and the joy of our wedding weekend so much so that every time I look through the photos I am transported back and feel like I am reliving one of the happiest weekends of my life. Trevor made all of us feel very comfortable and he picked the most stunning spots for our first look and group photos.

A gentle hand when you need.

Posing is all about comfort. Rather than control every little nuance, my goal is to give guiding directions that allow natural connections to occur. I endeavor to find the backdrops and guide by using actions to allow my clients to end up in comfortable spaces in front of amazing backdrops.

Trevor was responsive from the beginning and helped to make our elopement as simple and beautiful as it was. He came out to shoot our family on Mansion Beach on Block Island and the results are amazing. He really captured my daughters and their personalities and we love every single picture. It was a very laid back ceremony with no guests, and he captured everything that I asked. He was friendly and amazing with the girls (2 and 4yo) and it felt like we had an old friend with us. He had them comfortable, and even posing within minutes. He was flexible and overall so wonderful to work with.

EVERY SPECIAL MOMENT

While the timeline that we craft along with your planner guides the day and ensures a steady momentum, should an opportunity for spontaneity arise, that is what I gravitate towards.

I have been a bridesmaid more times than I can count, have been to almost every wedding venue in the state, and I never leave the dance floor. You could say I am a professional wedding guest/maid. When it was time for my own wedding the ONE thing I knew I wanted was Trevor Holden to capture my day. I know he will make you feel comfortable and relaxed in front of a camera and capture all of those little moments that could almost slip by. He is right in the middle of that crowded dance floor somehow bottling up that energy and happiness and pouring into the photographs. He is feet away yet capturing that suddle, quiet moment with mom/dad/husband/wife/kids. His pictures will make you say WOW every time. He is a true artist, genuine soul, and all around great person.
