Ryan and Amanda – Married – The Villa

Ryan and Amanda were married at The Villa the day after Thanksgiving. I met Amanda and her bridesmaids at the salon early in the morning in New Bedford, and hung with them throughout the day while Kris met up with the guys back in Warwick. The day presented interesting challenges in terms of lighting consideration as it was so late in the year. Luckily both Ryan and Amanda were dressed and ready and could get some photos separately while the sun was still above (or rather at a slant). For the post ceremony shots however we were completely reduced to artificial light. Kris and I brought in studio lights typically used for video to cover the entire wedding party. For the formals of just the two them I limited myself to off camera flash and some high ISO shots as the studio lights were to cumbersome to drag around. In the end I think we made out quite well and it was a great reception full of old friends and past clients. Thanks again Ryan and Amanda.
